THE DANGERS OF GIVING GOD EXCUSESS ALWAYS

Believers today are full of excuses; excuses of why they sin, why they don't share the word, why they don't pray and fast, why they avoid their responsibility in church, why they don't go to church, why they don't study the scripture, so many excuses.

The whole vision has become to you like the words of a book that is sealed, which men deliver to one who is literate, saying, “Read this, please.” And he says, “I cannot, for it is sealed.”   Then the book is delivered to one who is illiterate, saying, “Read this, please.” And he says, “I am not literate Therefore the Lord said: “Inasmuch as these people draw near with their mouths And honor Me with their lips, But have removed their hearts far from Me, And their fear toward Me is taught by the commandment of men  14 Therefore, behold, I will again do a marvelous work Among this people, A marvelous work and a wonder; For the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, And the understanding of their prudent men shall be hidden.” Isaiah 29:11-14 NKJV

Every believer has a special gift and a place in the kingdom, and has been called to serve in one way or the other in the body of Christ; either as full time minister, a church worker, evangelist, an intercessor and many others. However, we often ignore our duty and our mandate on the ground of inability or other nonsense reasons.

Many even stay from year to years without preaching to others on the ground they are not pastors, and don't know how to preach, and have forgotten that they were saved to saved others {Mark 16:15-20). This is why so many believers life remain the same from year to year, if you can't preach can't you also pray for the lost soul? Have you ever embark on prayer and fasting just to see the lost souls saved? Or maybe you don't know to pray also.

The church today is full of people who only cares about their own welfare and nothing more, that is why if they face any small challenges they blame everyone and most a times run from church to churches. God is not looking for babes but sons,,,, For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God {Roman 8:19}. You are born a child but you grow into son, and until that you can't assume any responsibility and without responsibility there is no authority and reward.

From our bible passage is Isaiah 29:14, we see the danger of excuses; The Lord said, that the "wisdom of their wise men shall perish, And the understanding of their prudent men shall be hidden.” Our Lord Jesus having a deeper understanding of this elaborates on this,,,,,With the measure you use, it will be measured to you—and even more. 25 Whoever has will be given more; whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them.” (Mark 4:24-25 & luke 8:18}

The master made it clear to all that if you can't take responsibility to share the truth you have known and take responsibility for the advancement of the kingdom,  that the gift, wisdom and knowledge you still enjoy shall be taken from you. Remember, no one has ever learn how to swim until you enter the river, God is always watching to see how you use the little you know before He gives you more. Take a look at the parable of the talent {Mathew 25:14-30). Do you still need good grammar to talk to your family members and friends? If you can't win them they will win you.

The saviour addressing this He said,,,, because thou are neither cold nor hot I will spit you out of my mouth like spit {Revelation 315-17} . Our Lord wish you were hot, up and doing, so he can give you more grace, knowledge, talent and wisdom but you were not. You were neither even cold peradventure He will send some people to come and preach to you afresh so you can get saved and save others but you were not. The bible says let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your father which is in heaven (Mathew 5:16).

 My friend stop giving excuses and lazing about and pick up responsibilities, start preaching the gospel from your Jerusalem (families, neighbours and friends), Don't just go to church, serve in the church (Exodus 23:25-26}. God want to make you fishers of destinies but you must first and foremost follow his instructions. Read and love the bible more than food {1 Peter 2:2} to grow, meditate and practice what you learn to prosper and succeed {Joshua 1:8}. Pray always to prove your trust on God's ability to sustain you, love and care for others like Christ did for us (1 John 3:16) to show your maturity for greater responsibility, authority and reward.

Remember always, that faithful is He that calleth you and send you, who also has the capacity to do same (1 Thess. 5:24). Grace come in the alter of service and not in the alter of idleness, observing, criticizing and complaining{ 1 Corr. 15:10}. Learn from the reaction of God to Moses

Exodus 4:10-14 But Moses pleaded with the Lord, “O Lord, I’m not very good with words. I never have been, and I’m not now, even though you have spoken to me. I get tongue-tied, and my words get tangled.” Then the Lord asked Moses, “Who makes a person’s mouth? Who decides whether people speak or do not speak, hear or do not hear, see or do not see? Is it not I, the Lord? Now go! I will be with you as you speak, and I will instruct you in what to say.” But Moses again pleaded, “Lord, please! Send anyone else.” Then the Lord became angry with Moses. “All right,”

Jesus says,  “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness {Matthew 7:21-23}. Think about this.
