There was a very powerful
king lived in the largest kingdom ever known with many servants. This King has
only one child who he loved so much and cared for dearly. The king also has a dog
which he also loved dearly, unfortunately for the king, the dog was deceived by
an enemy to join the company of wild wolves against the wish of the king and
the son.
The king has tried all
means possible to save the dog because of the love he has for the dog to no
avail. It was now dawn on the king that the only way to save the king's dog is
for someone to become like a dog (eat trash, homeless, and feel all the pain
dogs feel) and save the same dog. After all efforts none of the servant agrees
to pay such sacrifice of becoming like dog in order to save the dog, but the
son because of the love the father has on the dog and the love he has on the
dog also agrees to become like dog in order to save this same dog.
Regrettably, even the dog the son went to save hate the
son, never trusted the son, despite the testimony of the son, that the father
sent him to save the same dog. That all the dog needed to do is to believe him-
the son and he will be saved. The dog instead of believing the son was also
deceived again by the enemy to collaborate with the wolves to kill the king son
in a gruesome act. The son willingly lays his life for the dog because He knew
that is the only way to save the dog. So He died a shameful death,,,,,,, to
save the dog. The King is God, the king son is Jesus Christ and the dog is man.
For God so loved the
world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth on him shall
not perish, but have everlasting life (John 3: 16). Have
you ever reflected on the kind of love God has for humanity, that he sent his
son to be born in human form, to live in the falling world, to suffer all the
pains in life, because of you. Christ was made to forsake his glory to come and
live in our limited, painful world in order to save humanity. Who though he was in the form of
God,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, but emptied himself, taking the form of servant, being
born in the likeness of men, and being found in human form He humbled Himself
and became obedient unto death, even death on a cross (Philippians 2: 6-8).
The question is do you
appreciate the death of Christ on the cross for you? If you do appreciate His
death, are you living for Him? We have been bought with the price of Christ's death and therefore
are called to serve not self but Christ (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). My dear you
have been bought with a price, stop living like you own your life. You are not
created for yourself rather you are created for God own pleasure. If you
believe in Christ death, you automatically becomes his soldier.
But, how can you be Christ soldier and yet you
entangle yourself with the affair of this life (2 Tim. 2: 3-4). There is no way you can
fully live for Christ when you are not dead to the things and affair of this
life. You have the grace already so long you long for it and desire it, He
grace is sufficient for you only if you can decide to live for him. What are
you doing to expand the kingdom? Pray for the lost soul, you can't; preach the
gospel, you can't; show love to your neighbor, you can't. What are you even doing,
my dear? If you are not expanding the kingdom, you are diminishing it. There is
no neutrality in God work, you are either for God or against him.
Are you even saved? If you die today will Christ
say to you welcome my faithful servant, or will the devil say welcome my
faithful servant. It is appointed for a man to die once, after that is judgment.
Hell and heaven is real no doubt my dear, amend your way before is too late.
Heaven is a glorious place where there is no pain, sickness, suffering, lack or
want, no stress. Imagine a place where everything you think become a reality
immediately. Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart
of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him (1
Corinthians 2: 9).
Those things you are looking for is an addition
if you can serve him with all sincerity. Seek you first God's kingdom and His
righteousness and all other things shall be added to you (Mathews 6: 33).
Wealth, success, fame, power, wisdom, marriage, name them is an addition when you seek him first. Why
are you seeking God hand, when He can give you His heart? Get His heart and you
will Get His hand as well.
Oh! May God open your inner eye to see that
those things you are busy killing yourself is available in knowing him. When
you know God very well, you will know where He drop all the heavenly treasure. Receive
grace to serve God in your generation. Promise God that this generation will
know him through you. Seek God with a genuine heart and you will find him.
What a sacrificial love. I wish we can love like this.
