DEALING WITH LAZINESS AS A CHRISTIAN

The soul of a lazy man desires, and has nothing; but the soul of the diligent shall be made rich (Proverbs 13:4).

Laziness is very prominent among Christian this days, and that makes me to wonder who they resemble? God our father is a hard working God, the bible says, behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither sleep nor slumber (psalm 121:4). So if God is neither sleeping nor slumbering at all time that means, he is working always. Jesus collaborate this fact,,,,, my father worketh hitherto, and I work(John 5:17). So God is working and Jesus is working, who do you resemble?

WHY AM I UNEMPLOYED AS A CHRISTIAN?

Unemployment could be very frustrating and overwhelming sometimes. Most a times as a Christian who has always been faithful in your Christian service, you assume that unemployment shouldn't be an issue for you. Yes you are right because the bible says, the earth is of the Lord and the fullness there-off; the world, and they that dwell therein (Psalm 24:1).

You can meet God only Needs

The only need that God has is the salvation of mankind from their sin. This singular need of God almighty, has prompted Him to work day and Night without resting (Psalm 121:4). Ever since the fall of man, God has never rested one day to see that humanity is restored back to their original position of dominion (Genesis 1:28).

THE DANGERS OF GIVING GOD EXCUSESS ALWAYS

Believers today are full of excuses; excuses of why they sin, why they don't share the word, why they don't pray and fast, why they avoid their responsibility in church, why they don't go to church, why they don't study the scripture, so many excuses.

The whole vision has become to you like the words of a book that is sealed, which men deliver to one who is literate, saying, “Read this, please.” And he says, “I cannot, for it is sealed.”   Then the book is delivered to one who is illiterate, saying, “Read this, please.” And he says, “I am not literate Therefore the Lord said: “Inasmuch as these people draw near with their mouths And honor Me with their lips, But have removed their hearts far from Me, And their fear toward Me is taught by the commandment of men  14 Therefore, behold, I will again do a marvelous work Among this people, A marvelous work and a wonder; For the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, And the understanding of their prudent men shall be hidden.” Isaiah 29:11-14 NKJV

THE POWER OF TRUSTING GOD

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding, in all thy way acknowledge him , and he shall direct thy paths. Proverb 3:5-6

The question is when do we say we trust God with all our heart? Does creativity entails leaning on our own understanding? How do we know we are actually trusting God with the whole of our heart?
The problem of man today is that we have fail to trust God with the totality of our heart. We seem to predict the move of God, and often think God has a different plan for us about what he said. When God said to Abram I will make thee father of multitude of nations { Genesis 17:4-6}, he simply trust God with the whole of his heart, though it was delayed but God bring it to pass. Elijah trust God that he is able to supply all his need and all through his stay in the wilderness, he was fed by raven { 1 King 17:6}.
